![]() | The Redlands Palomino CompanyAfter a two-year break from touring, the UK’s Redlands
Palomino Company are set to release their third album,
Don’t Fade, in Spring 2011 on Clubhouse Records. Like
their first two albums – the critically acclaimed By The
Time You Hear This (2004) and Take Me Home (2007) – it
features the trademark harmonies and heartfelt songwriting
of husband-and-wife partnership Hannah and Alex Elton-Wall.
Recorded in rural Wiltshire and the Wye Valley in a relaxed
and laidback environment over the past 18 months, the album
was produced by Alex Elton-Wall and features ten new songs
as well as a cover of The Dillards’ country rock classic
One A.M. |

winter locked away in their own studio, a converted chiller
unit of a local strawberry farm, rehearsing and recording
eleven original numbers as well as the traditional bluegrass
song 'Satan, Your Kingdom Must Come Down' which make up the
bands’ debut album. |

Plying tales of lost love, revenge and rural homicide, The
Cedars manage to straddle the divide between the dancehalls
of the 20's and 30's and today’s happening roots and folk
scene.
The Cedars played a host of festivals in 2010 including
Glastonbury and Truck and relocated to California to record
their debut album ‘Little Copper Still’ with Ramblin’
